Njia Boys' Senior School is a Government Extra County boarding Secondary school that opened its doorsin February 1976. The school is Sponsored by County Education Board (CEB) and has grown in leaps and bounds from 27 students back then to the current 1200.The school is located in Njia ward in Igembe Central Sub-County in Meru County from where it derives its name.The school has excellent proximity road network being at Kangeta Township,some 3 kilometers off Meru-Maua road,along Kangeta-laare road giving the school a serine environment for learning.
